We stand behind every restoration. If your headlights develop new surface haze, yellowing, or oxidation within 12 months of service, we’ll re-treat the affected lens(es) at no labor charge.
What’s Covered
- Return of surface oxidation, haze, or yellowing on the outer lens
- Loss of clarity or gloss caused by normal weathering and UV exposure
- Peel or failure of our applied UV topcoat under normal use
What’s Not Covered
- Cracks, chips, impact damage, or sanding/abrasion after service
- Internal condensation or moisture inside the housing/lens
- Chemical damage (e.g., harsh cleaners, solvents, gasoline, brake fluid)
- Aftermarket films/tints applied after our service
- Body-shop or collision work affecting the lens or coating
Your Part
- Hand wash only on lenses for 7 days after service; avoid pressure washers
- Use pH-balanced car soap and a soft microfiber when cleaning
- Avoid abrasive polishes or scouring pads on the lenses
How to Make a Claim
- Contact us at foggyfixer.com/contact with your name, vehicle, and service date
- Include photos taken in daylight that show the issue
- We’ll schedule an inspection and re-treatment if covered
Other Details
- Coverage term: 12 months from the original service date
- Remedy: one no-labor re-treatment of the affected lens(es)
- Transferable: No — coverage stays with the original purchaser/booking
- Service area: claims performed within our listed service cities
Note: Deep cracks, separated seals, or moisture inside the housing are mechanical issues and require repair or replacement. We’re happy to advise on options if we find these during inspection.
